For patients

Your results, when they are ready, only to you

Patient access is turned on by your laboratory. It is deliberately not a name-and-date-of-birth login.

  1. 1

Your laboratory issues an activation code

It is sent to the e-mail your laboratory already has on file for you, or handed to you on a printed slip.

  2. 2

    You confirm who you are

The code, your last name and your date of birth, then a one-time code sent to the e-mail your laboratory has on file (or, with a printed slip, to the address you choose). The code alone opens nothing.

  3. 3

    You secure the account

A password and an authenticator app on your phone. Recovery codes in case you lose the phone.

  4. 4

    You see your cleared results

Only your own results, only once the laboratory has released them. Download them, or message the laboratory securely.

Who can use the patient portal

The patient portal is for patients 18 and older, and each account belongs to the patient. Parents of children, guardians and health care agents of adults, and others who act for a patient cannot use the portal for that patient. They can get results from the provider who ordered the test, or by asking the laboratory, which checks identity and authority and follows the law that applies.

No code yet? Ask the laboratory or clinician who ordered your test. Questions about a result also go to them.
