FAQ

Questions laboratories ask us

If yours is not here, the contact form reaches a person within one business day.

The reports

What does the molecular report contain?

A ranked, dosed treatment plan with route and duration; ranked alternatives, each dosed; coverage organism by organism; what each detected gene rules out; the six safety checks with an action beside each finding; whether to treat at all; and the reasoning in plain sentences, each traced to an authoritative U.S. source.

Does it replace clinical judgment?

No. It is decision support for licensed clinicians. It makes the decision checkable: every recommendation names its source and the report says what the assay cannot distinguish.

Does an AI model write my report?

No. No AI model runs when your report is generated. Every recommendation follows fixed rules drawn from published FDA, CDC, NIH and IDSA guidance and research, so the same result always produces the same report.

What happens when guidance changes?

The rule is re-anchored or retired, and the change is recorded down to the rule and the source behind it. Before a new engine version reaches your reports, your laboratory administrators get a notice in the portal and by e-mail saying what changes and when.

What is the culture report?

For laboratories that run culture, a complete report built from measured susceptibility. For molecular customers, the revision that keeps the molecular report correct once culture returns: the same report, revised, not a second document.

Getting results in and out

How do results get to the engine?

Three ways: straight from your system through the documented API, as a file upload in the portal, or we handle delivery into your LIS so your staff keeps working exactly as today.

Where does the report arrive?

Where your results already arrive, as a PDF alongside the result, or straight into your own system if you connect directly. Patients can also see cleared reports in the patient portal once your laboratory enables it.

What if the data we send is incomplete?

It comes back to you for correction. An organism, gene or allergy the engine does not recognize, or dates that disagree, are never guessed at.

Is every report really reviewed before release?

Yes. A report cannot be retrieved by anyone, person or system, until it has cleared review. Clearance must be positive; a missing check holds a report just as a failed one does.

Security and privacy

Will you sign a BAA?

Yes. We sign one with your laboratory before any of its patient information reaches us. Request one from the BAA page.

Can one laboratory see another laboratory's data?

No. Isolation is enforced in the database itself as well as in the application; an empty scope returns nothing.

How do patients log in?

With an activation code issued by their laboratory, their name and date of birth, a one-time code sent to an e-mail address they confirm as their own, and an authenticator app. Name and date of birth alone never open a record.

What does this website collect?

What you type into a form on it (Get started, contact, BAA request), which is business contact information. Our servers also log each request with its network address to protect the service from abuse, and delete those logs after 30 days. No third-party scripts, fonts or trackers load on this site.

Billing

How are we charged?

Once per positive report, ever. Corrections, amendments and re-issues never add a charge. True negatives are never charged. Show us your current rate and we will beat it.

Is there a minimum or a setup fee?

No setup fee and no minimum. Delivery setup, mapping and onboarding are on us. Ask for a written quote and you will have the whole picture before anything is signed.
